Compass World LLC operates as an independent travel facilitation platform and is not affiliated with the Government of the United States. Travelers may apply for their passport directly through the official U.S. Government website without using our platform or paying any service-related fees.

At Compass World LLC, we are committed to providing transparent, fair, and clearly defined service terms for users of our passport preparation platform at passportsubmissions.org.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when cancellations and refunds may be requested and how they are processed.


1. Service Summary

By completing a payment through www.passportsubmissions.org, you acknowledge that Compass World LLC provides an optional, fee-based online service to assist with the preparation and support of U.S. passport applications.

We are not affiliated with the United States Department of State or any U.S. government agency. Applicants may always apply directly through official government channels without using our platform or paying our service fees.

Because our services begin immediately after order confirmation and involve customized digital preparation and review, our service is classified as a personalized digital service. Once work has commenced, cancellation rights may be limited.


2. What the Service Fee Includes

The total amount displayed at checkout includes our separate service fee for passport application preparation support.

Government passport application fees are separate and are paid directly to the appropriate government authority.

Our service fee may include:

  • Step-by-step passport application guidance

  • Review and formatting of submitted information

  • Document checklist assistance

  • Error-checking and data verification

  • Secure digital tools for information submission

  • Email updates and application support guidance

  • Assistance responding to document requests where applicable

  • Help with resubmission where permitted

All fees are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

Payment processing is handled exclusively through PCI-compliant third-party providers. Passport Submissions Org does not store or transmit cardholder details on its servers.


3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

A full refund of 100% of the service fee may be granted if:

  • Your application preparation process has not yet begun, or

  • You request cancellation before our review and preparation services have been initiated.

All refund requests must be submitted within ninety (90) calendar days of the original purchase date.

Include the following:

  • Full name provided on the order

  • Transaction reference number

  • Date of purchase

  • Brief explanation of your request

Once our review and preparation services have been completed, the service is considered fulfilled and fees become non-refundable.

Refund requests are reviewed within three (3) business days. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within five (5) to seven (7) business days. Any foreign exchange fees, banking fees, or card provider charges are the responsibility of the customer.


4. Government Fees

Government passport application fees are set and collected by the United States Department of State. Passport Submissions Org does not control government fee policies.

Government fees are non-refundable except as permitted by the issuing authority.


5. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks

We strongly encourage contacting our support team before initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider.

If a chargeback is filed, Passport Submissions Org reserves the right to provide documentation demonstrating that services were delivered in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent suspension of access to our services.


6. Processing Timeframes

Our internal preparation and review services are typically initiated within one (1) business day of receiving complete information and payment.

Government processing timelines for passport issuance are determined exclusively by the United States Department of State and may vary.

Passport Submissions Org is not responsible for:

  • Government processing delays

  • Passport issuance denials

  • Travel disruptions

  • External events beyond our control, including force majeure events such as natural disasters or widespread outages

If you require urgent passport issuance, you should review official government expedited options.


7. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept secure payments via:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Discover

All transactions are processed through PCI-compliant payment gateways. Passport Submissions Org does not store cardholder information.


8. Confirmation of Refunds or Cancellations

All cancellation and refund requests will be acknowledged by email.

Requests received during standard business hours are typically reviewed the same business day. Requests received outside business hours will be reviewed the next business day.
